Series 07 — Inorganic
Mineral Crystal Inorganic Coat
Inorganic mineral coating engineered for ultra-low VOC and high durability.
A modified inorganic single-component coating built for projects where environmental, weather-resistance and long-term stability requirements are the highest. Designed for schools, hospitals and high-end residential interiors at home, and for high-temperature Middle East and low-VOC European projects abroad.
- Schools, hospitals, public buildings
- High-end residential interiors
- Middle-East high-temperature projects
- European low-VOC certified projects

Why specify Mineral Crystal
What this coating does that paint cannot.
Engineering-grade alkali resistance
48-hour alkali immersion with no blistering, peeling or colour change — built for fresh concrete, render and high-pH substrates.
Ultra-low VOC
≤30 g/L ready-to-use, suitable for occupied environments such as schools, clinics and hospitality back-of-house.
Mineral bonding to substrate
Silicate binder reacts with mineral substrates to form a chemical bond — more like a stone face than a paint layer.
High vapour permeability
Allows substrates to breathe, reducing risk of trapped moisture, salt damage and microbial growth.

Standard Finishes
A starting palette of 6 colours.
All finishes are factory-tinted on order with lightfast natural mineral pigments. Custom colour matching available for project quantities ≥ 200 kg.

In Detail
About Mineral Crystal Inorganic Coat
CALMURA Mineral Crystal Inorganic Coat uses a silicate-modified mineral binder system that chemically bonds with mineral substrates rather than forming a polymer film on top. The result is an authentic mineral matte texture with engineering-grade durability: alkali-resistance over 48 hours with no defects, ultra-low VOC ≤30 g/L, excellent UV-stability and high water-vapour permeability. Recommended at 4–6 m² per kg per coat over two coats; touch-dry in 2 hours and recoat in 6–8 hours. Suitable for both interior and protected exterior application.
Common Applications
- Public-building interiors (schools, clinics, civic centres)
- High-end residential walls and ceilings
- Protected exterior facades in hot climates
- Heritage and conservation projects on mineral substrates
