Polished marble dust and slaked lime — the original Venetian luxury finish.
Authentic Italian-formula marmorino made from finely-ground marble powder and aged lime. Trowel-applied in three thin coats and burnished to a satin or mirror sheen, it produces the unmistakable depth and luminosity of Venetian palazzo walls.

Polished surface delivers a translucent depth impossible to achieve with paint — light enters the lime and refracts off the marble particles.
Breathable & lime-strong
High vapour permeability + carbonation hardening produces a wall finish that grows stronger with age.
Bespoke colour & sheen
Two grit grades (sand / fine) and tinted in production with lightfast mineral pigments to match designer palettes.
Ultra low maintenance
Sealed with natural beeswax soap finish — washable, mark-resistant and self-healing of micro-scratches.

All finishes are factory-tinted on order with lightfast natural mineral pigments. Custom colour matching available for project quantities ≥ 200 kg.

About Marmorino Venetian Plaster
Marmorino is the historical Venetian wall finish documented since the 16th century — a thin lime plaster loaded with marble dust that achieves a marble-like surface. CALMURA's two-grade system covers fine sand finish for matte-satin walls and ultra-fine grade for polished mirror finishes used in luxury residential foyers, hotel lobbies, and high-end retail interiors. Tintable to bespoke colours; supplied with full Marmorino Lavorazione application protocol.
