Soft, cloudy matte finish carbonated from pure aged lime.

Zero VOC, mineral-only
No solvents, no plasticisers, no biocides. Formulated to A+ French VOC class and LEED v4 EQ-credit eligible.
Naturally antimicrobial
High alkalinity (pH ≈ 12.5) inhibits mould, mildew and bacterial growth without chemical additives.
Breathable & moisture-regulating
High water-vapour permeability (Sd < 0.05 m) helps regulate indoor humidity and protects substrates from trapped moisture.
Carbonates into stone
Once cured, the coating reabsorbs CO₂ and re-mineralises into calcium carbonate — a wall finish that is literally rock.

All finishes are factory-tinted on order with lightfast natural mineral pigments. Custom colour matching available for project quantities ≥ 200 kg.

About Mineral Limewash
CALMURA Mineral Limewash is a single-component, water-thinned coating made from highly aged calcium hydroxide putty (matured 12+ months) and lightfast natural earth pigments. Once applied it carbonates back into limestone, becoming an integral part of the wall rather than a film on top of it. The result is a uniquely soft, cloudy, ultra-matte surface with subtle tonal variation that shifts throughout the day. Suitable for interior walls, ceilings and protected exterior surfaces in residential, hospitality and commercial environments seeking authentic, tactile, low-impact finishes.
