How CALMURA solves it.
Conventional "low-VOC" paint still contains binders, biocides and surfactants that off-gas over months. True mineral coatings — pure lime + mineral pigment — emit zero detectable VOCs and are inherently antimicrobial because of high alkalinity. They are safer for sensitive populations and dramatically reduce post-occupancy air-quality complaints.
EN 71-3 toy safety
Tested for heavy-metal migration to the EN 71-3 standard — safe for surfaces in nurseries and children's rooms.
High alkalinity = antimicrobial
pH ≈ 12.5 inhibits mould, bacteria and dust-mite proliferation without synthetic biocides.
