Water-based & low VOC
Water-thinned formulation with VOC < 25 g/L, scrubbable when fully cured. Compliant with US Method 24 and EU Directive 2004/42/EC.
Directional light play
Aligned lamellar pigments create soft directional shimmer that changes appearance with viewing angle and lighting.
Two application techniques
Brush stroke for fine linear effect; trowel for soft tonal clouds. The same pail produces different visual languages.
12 metallic shades
From bright champagne and antique brass to warm pewter and brushed steel — coordinated with neutral architectural palettes.

A starting palette of 6 colours.
All finishes are factory-tinted on order with lightfast natural mineral pigments. Custom colour matching available for project quantities ≥ 200 kg.

About Texture Metallic
CALMURA Texture Metallic is a low-VOC, water-based acrylic-mineral coating loaded with lightfast aluminium and bronze pigments aligned during application to produce a directional shimmer. Two application techniques — long brush stroke for linen-like effect and trowel for tonal cloud effect — yield distinct visual rhythms. Used in commercial retail, hospitality bars, restaurant ceilings, and residential dining rooms where you want a wall surface to interact with light.
