AeroTherm Insulation Coat
Aerogel-modified insulation coating for hot-climate exteriors and feature walls.
A functional water-based insulation coating built around lightweight aerogel-style fillers to reduce solar heat gain on building envelopes. Designed for hot-region energy retrofits in southern China and for cooling-driven projects in the Middle East and South-East Asia.

High solar reflectance
Solar reflectance ≥0.85 reflects most direct sunlight before it heats the wall — a measurable cooling-load reduction.
Low thermal conductivity
Reference conductivity ≤0.045 W/(m·K) — comparable to engineered insulation foam in a paint-applied film.
Lightweight retrofit
Applies as a coating system 300–500 μm thick — no structural reinforcement or facade rebuild required.
Compatible with envelopes
Adheres to concrete, render, primed metal and EPS systems — ideal for retrofitting existing buildings without removing cladding.
Standard Finishes
A starting palette of 5 colours.
All finishes are factory-tinted on order with lightfast natural mineral pigments. Custom colour matching available for project quantities ≥ 200 kg.

About AeroTherm Insulation Coat
CALMURA AeroTherm Insulation Coat is a water-based functional coating that combines high solar reflectance with a low-conductivity insulating film. System dry-film thickness 300–500 μm, system coverage 1.0–1.5 m² per kg, solar reflectance ≥0.85 and reference thermal conductivity ≤0.045 W/(m·K). Used as a top layer on facades, rooftops or hot-side internal walls, it reduces heat conduction into occupied space and lowers cooling load — particularly valuable for hot-climate retrofits and energy-rated commercial buildings.
